Our partner orchestra - Dortmund Recorder Consort
Since 2006, Eileen Silcocks has invited our associate conductor Dietrich Schnabel, director of the Dortmund Recorder Consort, to share the conducting at our annual residential weekend.
In 2008 the two orchestras combined for a long weekend rehearsal at Haus Nordhelle in Germany and a concert in Dortmund.
Later the same year we combined again at Carberry Tower and a concert in Edinburgh.
We shall combine next in Scotland at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan, from 5 to 7 October 2012 and in Germany at Haus Nordhelle from 9 to 12 May 2013 (Thursday to Sunday).
